Our Loaner Lifejacket Stations are a vital resource for ensuring the safety of all river users. In partnership with both Arkansas Headwaters Recreation Area (AHRA) and the City of Cañon City, stations have been placed at strategic points along the Arkansas River. Our stations provide free access to personal flotation devices (PFDs) for individuals of all ages and sizes.

Our Loaner Lifejacket Stations offer a wide range of PFD sizes, from almost infant/toddler jackets to XXXL, ensuring that everyone can find the right fit for their adventure. Simply borrow a lifejacket for your water activities and return it once you're finished—no strings attached.
