At Royal Gorge Gargoyles, we're passionate about providing opportunities for 14-19 year-olds to discover the thrill of whitewater sports. Our program, operated in partnership with the Cañon City Recreation District, offers a safe and supportive environment for youth to explore activities like rafting, kayaking, stand-up paddleboarding (SUP), and canoeing on the Arkansas River.
Seasonal Training Program with Competitive Opportunities.
Our seasonal, weekly training program is designed to introduce youth to the exciting world of whitewater sports while fostering teamwork, leadership, and a love for the outdoors. As part of the Cañon City Recreation District's sports program, participants have the opportunity to compete in local and national events. In 2019, our Youth Men's team proudly took home the National Championship title for under 19.
